Caius Gabriel Cibber was a Danish-English artist, architect, and designer. He was born in Flensburg, Denmark in 1630 and held citizenship in both Denmark and England. Cibber was the father of Colley Cibber, a notable English actor and playwright.
Among his well-known works, Caius Gabriel Cibber created the statue of Charles II, which can be found in Soho Square, London. Cibber passed away in London on January 1, 1700.
