California State University, Bakersfield

California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) is a public university located in Bakersfield, California, United States. It was founded in 1965 and is a part of the California State University (CSU) system. The university is affiliated with several institutions, such as the National Collegiate Athletic Association, American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the National Athletic Association.
