The company uses laser-based 3D printing technologies to make custom DNA strands for its customers.
In 2013, Cambrian Genomics was able to raise $484,013 in crowdfunding for their glowing plant project, which aimed to create a plant that emits light. The project is still ongoing and the company is struggling to produce a plant which makes light unassisted.
