In 2018 Cambridge Quantum Computing (CQC) and Google announced their collaboration in quantum computing. CQC will utilize the open source CIRQ framework developed by Google and the 72-qubit "Bristlecone" quantum processor to develop software for quantum computers. The technology has applications in fields ranging from chemistry to finance, from encryption to AI.
In parallel with the implementation of CQC's proprietary quantum operating system, t|ket>, CQC is working with Google on a collaboration to help develop tools for quantum chemistry with potential applications in personalized medicine.
