Capital-E is a venture capital firm that provides early stage capital to companies developing selling propositions based on enabling electronics or advanced materials. Founded 2005 in Washington, District of Columbia, United States by Marc Wachsmuth, it invests in early and late stage ventures. Its portfolio companies include Silicon Mobility, Silicon Line, Accelleran, NovoPolymers, Movidius, NovoPolymers, Trinean, and MyEnergy. As of January 2020, the company had six exits and 23 investments. The firm provides early-stage capital to companies operating in the technology segment specially in the communications and networking, semicon processing and metrology, consumer electronics and multimedia and clean-tech sectors.
