Carbon Utility Token (CUT) is a green token created from certified carbon offsets. Every token can retire a specific amount of carbon offsets at anytime. The amount of offsets a single token can retire grows overtime using CUT’s factoring mechanism.
The pool of offsets consists of certified removal and destruction of Carbon by Landfill gas and Biomass projects. Working with independent power producers, CUT continues to source more Carbon Offsets for the pool as tokens are retired from supply.
This project aims to give climate action a real value. CUT creates real tangible impact on the planet. Simply put, it's immutable climate action. It has a value that can be measured in terms of its precise scientific benefits, and can be tracked per gram back to the place of origin for any specific Carbon Offset.
Carbon Utility Token is the first project related to Carbon Offsets that launched as an IEO on a Tier One EU Exchange Bittrex Global. Incorporated with the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority, CUT received a Legal Opinion determining it is a Utility Token.
The team is comprised of experts with decades of experience in the Renewable Energy, Carbon Offsets and Financial industry.
