Trolls world tour - animated film produced by DreamWorks Animation and released in 2020 under the direction of Universal Pictures. It is a continuation of the cartoon "Trolls" in 2016.
The film begins at the Techno Reef where the Techno Trolls are gathering for a massive rave when their leader King T-rollex is about to play "One More Time". After the song begins and the techno trolls enjoy the music, a shadow approaches in the distance.
King Trollex turns off the DJ console and approaches himself. Rock Troll Queen Rox greets him and tells him to pass the Techno String. When Trollex refuses to do so, she and her rock trolls attack. They beat the Techno-trolls with their rhythm and destroy Trollex's DJ booth. In an attempt to minimize the damage and save his people, Trollex agrees to hand over Struna. Rox tells him that when she's done, everyone will have the same vibe.
In Troll Village, Queen Poppy starts her business with "Trolls Wanna Have Good Times".
During this, Tsvetan begins to think about taking his relationship with Poppy to the next level, and states that he just needs to muster up the courage to tell her that she is the one. He joins the potpourri. During the medley, Poppy and her friends witness the birth of Brulik, Diamond's newborn son, who turns out to be a hip-hop troll. The potpourri continues as the trolls now celebrate his birth.
Tsvetan then tries to talk to Poppy and tell her how he feels, but can't get a word out, and Poppy eventually confesses that she considers him her friend. The word "friend" echoes in his head and he passes out. In an attempt to catch up, the two try to high-five each other but fail, though Poppy then succeeds with Fuzzbert.
Their attention turns to Big Man, who is being attacked by a bat. Poppy takes it from him, but now it's in her hair.
Tsvetan calms the bat and draws attention to the message it was carrying. Poppy reads about the rock troll queen Rox's world tour and bringing her String there.
An alarmed Pink King takes the message from her and tries to destroy it, but Tsvetan calms him down. Poppy is told that there are other trolls besides them, and they themselves are called "Pop Trolls".
It makes sense to them, and they all nod in agreement. Poppy wants to hear more about the other trolls, but the King explains that they are very different from them.
The pop trio arrive at the Lonely Flats, home of the country trolls. At first there is no one around, but it is noon, and Mayor Delta Don appears, singing "Born to Die", which leads all the trolls out of the houses. Rose comments that the song is sad. Tsvetan likes it, but Poppy thinks they don't know that music is supposed to make them happy.
Delta feels sorry for the trio as they "look like they've been beaten up by a rainbow" and doesn't care for them. Poppy tries to cheer them up by singing a medley that covers all of their most important songs. Soon the three are alone and the village trolls hide from their music.
Back at Pop Village, Poppy tells a new version of the trolls' story about how their ancestors were wrong to the trolls from each tribe, joined by Tsvetan. The two leave and the Pop Village celebration begins. The troll leaders chat, have fun, and Prince D and Tsvetan sing "Don't slack". The song ends with Rose and Tsvetan taking to the sky.
