Cathedral in Brasilia

The cathedral is the Catholic cathedral of the Archdiocese of Brasilia. National Monument. It was built in the modernist style according to the project of the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. When designing, Oscar Niemeyer was inspired by Liverpool Cathedral. The building itself consists of 16 hyperboloid columns symbolizing hands raised to the sky
