Cell harvesting

In cell culture, cell harvesting refers to collecting cells from culture surfaces and isolating them from the culture medium. Cell harvesting can also refer to obtaining cells from tissues within an organism, such as bone marrow cells, which may then be cultured for research or transplanted as a cell therapy to treat disease.
