Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan, born as Yvette Marie Stevens on March 23, 1953, is an American singer-songwriter, composer, and musician known for her work in the music industry. She was born in Chicago and holds citizenship in the United States. Throughout her career, Chaka Khan has been associated with various genres, including jazz, pop music, rhythm and blues, soul music, and funk.

Chaka Khan attended multiple educational institutions, such as Berklee College of Music, Kenwood Academy, and Calumet High School (Chicago). Currently, she is based in Los Angeles.

Throughout her illustrious career, Chaka Khan has received numerous Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance and the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.
