Charles Band is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and executive producer born on December 27, 1951, in Los Angeles. He holds US citizenship and is known for his work on horror comedy movies. Band has directed a wide range of films, including "Trancers II: The Return of Jack Deth", "Puppet Master X: Axis Rising", "Crash and Burn", "Head of the Family", and "Parasite", among others.
Charles Band began his career in 1973 with the release of his first film, "Last Foxtrot in Burbank". Over the years, he has been associated with various genres such as horror, science fiction, fantasy, romantic films, and comedy. Some of his notable works include "Cinderella", "Mansion of the Doomed", "Laserblast", and "Evil Bong 3D: The Wrath of Bong".
Charles Band is the father of musician Alex Band. Throughout his career, he has used various nicknames such as James Amante, Carlo Bokino, and Robert Talbot.
