Chernozemov Kirill Nikolaevich (June 14, 1933 - April 19, 2004) - Soviet and Russian theater and film actor.
Kirill Nikolaevich Chernozemov was born on June 14, 1933. In 1957 he graduated from the Leningrad Theater Institute. Kirill Nikolaevich's track record includes more than a dozen performances staged by him in Leningrad and theaters of the Soviet Union, alongside directors G. Tovstonogov, I. Vladimirov, V. Vorobyov, V. Malyshchitsky and others. He was a student of Ivan Edmundovich Koch and a teacher at the stage movement and fencing department of LGITMiK Kirill Nikolayevich trained many famous actors. Chernozemov was one of the first directors of stage fencing: in the 1960s he was Smoktunovsky's understudy in fencing scenes in Kozintsev's film "Hamlet", in the 80-90s he headed the stage movement department at the Leningrad Theater Institute. At the St. Petersburg Conservatory, where Chernozemov moved in the early 1990s, he held the position of professor, head of the department of musical comedy. In 1994 he became the Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation.
Kirill Nikolaevich died on April 19, 2004.
