Chris worked at YouTube in July 2009 on the web development team. He was part of the team that launched a banner on YouTube to Internet Explorer 6 users, prompting them to upgrade to a modern web browser. After seeing the YouTube banner, Google Drive launched a similar banner to their IE6 users. Within a month, YouTube usage by IE6 users dropped in half.
