38-year career with Shell including as Executive Vice President, Upstream Major Projects within Shell’s Projects and Technology Business, General Manager of Shell’s operations in Syria and a secondment as Managing Director of Nigeria LNG Ltd. From 1999 to 2002 Dr Haynes was seconded to Woodside as General Manager of the North West Shelf Venture. Dr Haynes retired from Shell in 2011.
