Circle Optics unique, low parallax imaging technology can enable high resolution photogrammetric panoramic image capture that can be used to map out an environment. During this Phase 1 effort, we will utilize our Hydra Alpha prototype system to develop 3D models of an environment as the camera moves through space in real-time, by employing SLAM and spherical photogrammetry algorithms. With SLAM, a digital twin or 3D model can be built with just a few photos, and then as the camera moves, data from subsequent photos can be used to update the model on the fly. As such, this technology can help enable OSAM by providing maps of the local space around a satellite, space craft or station, where the deliberate and precise OSAM activities need to occur.
