Claude-Louis Navier was a French engineer, physicist, economist, and mathematician born on February 10, 1785, in Dijon. He was a citizen of France and was educated at the Polytechnic School. His doctoral advisor was Joseph Fourier.
Navier made valuable contributions in various fields throughout his career, including engineering, physics, economics, and mathematics. He passed away on August 21, 1836, in Paris.
