Clerkie is an AI based financial assistant and planning application. It aims to help middle class individuals manage their finances through financial education. The company was founded by Guy Assad and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. Clerkie launched their application on May 21, 2019.

The Clerkie application connects with users' financial institutions to offer financial advice through artificial intelligence. The app makes suggestions to users regarding personal financial budgets, 401k contributions, and taxes. The app includes a bill paying function and short term microloan program.

On May 21, 2019 Clerkie announced raising $2 million in seed funding from Flourish Ventures. The company plans on using their seed funding to help scale up their artificial intelligent financial assistant, begin offering their application to Android users, and increase the number of third party integrations to increase the number of tasks their digital assistant can automate for users. At the time of receiving their seed funding, Clearkie had more than 50,000 IOS users and was in the beta testing phase of their product.
