Columbia International University

Columbia International University (CIU) is a private educational institution located in Columbia, South Carolina, United States. CIU was founded in 1923 and operates in the fields of education, higher education, and as a university. The motto of the institution is "To Know Him and Make Him Known".

The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, the Association for Biblical Higher Education, Commission on Accreditation, and the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, Commission on Accrediting. CIU is affiliated with the National Christian College Athletic Association and the National Athletic Association.
