Converge

Converge is a company that develops wireless network sensors to monitor real-time concrete strength. It was established in 2014 by Gideon Farrell and Raphael Scheps. Converge aims to provide a more efficient process for the construction industry in planning and executing their projects. Converge is based in London, United Kingdom.

Converge provides an alternative for companies operating in the construction field when testing concrete strength. The commonly used method is manually using handheld tools or sending samples to the lab to ensure that the concrete mixture is ready to use. Converge offers a more automatic process by employing wireless network sensors that are embedded into the concrete slab – which would report the current status of the concrete to the user through Converge’s platform.

Since its founding year, Converge has received funding through three rounds, with its most recent held in 2015, a non-equity assistance round. It has previously received funding from six investors, which are Force Over Mass Capital, Theo Osbourne, Pitch@Palace, MassChallenge, Entrepreneur First, and Martlet.
