Cornelia Otis Skinner (1899-1979) was an American writer, screenwriter, and playwright. She was born in Chicago and held citizenship in the United States. Skinner received her education at Bryn Mawr College. Her mother, Maud Durbin, was also a notable influence in her life. Throughout her career, Skinner made significant contributions as a writer, screenwriter, and playwright, ultimately passing away in New York City.
