Curtis Brown

Curtis Brown, born Curtis Lee Brown, Jr. on November 3, 1956, is a former officer of the United States' armed forces and an astronaut. He was born in Elizabethtown, North Carolina and holds American citizenship.

Brown was educated at the United States Air Force Academy and the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. Throughout his career, he has received several awards, including the Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, NASA Space Flight Medal, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal.
