Cymburgis of Masovia was born in 1394 in Warsaw, Poland. She held citizenship in both Poland and Austria. Cymburgis was the daughter of Siemowit IV, Duke of Masovia, and Alexandra of Lithuania. She had several children, including Frederick III, Holy Roman Emperor; Albert VI, Archduke of Austria; Margaret of Austria, Electress of Saxony; Catherine of Austria (1420–1493); and Catherine of Brunswick-Lüneburg. Cymburgis passed away on October 7, 1429, in Türnitz, Austria.
