Cynthia Nixon, born Cynthia Ellen Nixon on April 9, 1966, is an American actor known for her notable works such as Sex and the City, An Inconvenient Truth, The Philadelphia Story, and Rabbit Hole (2010 film). She was born in New York City and holds citizenship in the United States. Nixon began her career as a child actor.
She received her education from various institutions: PS 158, HB Studio, Hunter College High School, and later graduated from Barnard College.
