In 1931, the construction of 35 and 154 kV electric networks of the "Western Ring" began in Dnepropetrovsk. The first start-up complex for construction included 4 154 kV substations and 2 35 kV substations, as well as 35 - 154 kV overhead transmission lines with a total length of 124 km.
In October 1932, with the launch of the first stage of Dniproges, 154 kV power transmission lines were put into operation in Dnipropetrovsk.
