David Brin

David Brin is an American astronomer, novelist, writer, screenwriter, and physicist who was born on October 6, 1950, in Glendale, California. His birth name is Glen David Brin. He is a citizen of the United States and is best known for his genre of science fiction.

Brin received his education from the California Institute of Technology and the University of California, San Diego. Some of his notable works include "The Postman", "Startide Rising", and "Earth (Brin novel)".
