David Hemmings (born 18 November 1941, died 3 December 2003) was a versatile English artist who achieved success in various fields, including acting, directing, producing, screenwriting, and as a singer-songwriter. Hemmings was born in Guildford and attended Alleyn's School and Glyn School for his education.
Throughout his career, Hemmings established himself as a notable film producer, screenwriter, and film director. Additionally, he worked as a television director and television producer, further showcasing his talents in the entertainment industry.
As an actor, David Hemmings appeared in numerous films and television shows. He also recorded and released music as a singer-songwriter.

David Hemmings passed away on 3 December 2003, in Bucharest. He was the father of actor Nolan Hemmings.
