David S. Ward (born October 25, 1945) is an American film director, screenwriter, and film producer. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island and holds citizenship in the United States. Ward has used the pseudonym Joaquin Montana in his work.
David Ward attended Pomona College, the University of Southern California, the University of California, Los Angeles, and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He is also an alumnus of Sunny Hills High School.
Ward's directorial work includes Major League II and he has been a member of the board of directors for the film King Ralph.
