David Sneider is an entrepreneur located in San Francisco, California.
Sneider began his career after earning his bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business. After working as a network manager and in sales, he was a member of the founding team of the start-up Sendbloom. The company developed a workflow automation platform and was eventually acquired by LinkedIn in 2018.
In 2017, Sneider cofounded and acted as CEO at Deco.network, a company that made tools for licensing and payments for collaborative projects. That company eventually pivoted, changed its name to Payout.Team, and focused on developing payment solutions for freelancers and contractors. From 2017 until 2021, Sneider acted as CEO of Expand, an app to make professional connections.
In 2019, Sneider cofounded Project Vesta, which creates solutions for coastal carbon capture using carbon-removing sand. He still acts as an advisor on this project.
Sneider went on to cofound his next company in 2021, Lit Protocol, a decentralized cryptography network. He also acts as CEO of the company.
In 2016, Sneider created "Galactic Tick Day" to celebrate the motion of the planets' journey around the Milky Way. The creation of the day inspired events and gatherings around the world and is celebrated approximately every 1.7 years.
Sneider has also been a speaker at forums and events in the technology industry, such as the World Crypto Economic Forum in 2022 and the Global Blockchain Conference in 2018.
