David Strathairn is an American actor and film producer born in San Francisco on January 26, 1949. He holds citizenship in the United States. Strathairn has been awarded the Primetime Emmy Award and received several other awards for his work in films and television.
David Strathairn attended Williams College, Redwood High School in Larkspur, California, and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. He is well-known for his roles in films such as Good Night, and Good Luck, Nomadland (2020), and L.A. Confidential (1997).
