Davor Šuker, born on January 1, 1968, in Osijek, is a former football player from Croatia. He held citizenship in Croatia, Yugoslavia, and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Throughout his career, Šuker received numerous awards and recognitions. Notably, he was awarded the FIFA World Cup Golden Boot, FIFA World Cup Silver Ball, and the FIFA 100. He was also a runner-up for the Ballon d'Or and the FIFA World Player of the Year: Bronze award.
Šuker was part of the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season, La Liga Team of the Season, and UEFA Euro Team of the Tournament. Additionally, he achieved the UEFA Cup runner-up, UEFA European Under-21 Championship runner-up, and FIFA World Youth Championship Silver Shoe awards.
