Decisions is a software company offering a no-code platform for automating workflow processes using an integrated set of graphical tools that allow for the creation of workflows, active forms, system integrations, dashboards, and reports. The company is headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia and was founded in 2010 by Carl Hewitt, Heath Oderman, and Kevin Lindquist.
Business Rules can be created with the Decision platform which can be configured and tested in the Decisions Studio. Business Rules are made to help users automate their workflows for tasks such as tables, statements, trees, matrixes, and can and integrated with other applications using the Decision REST and SOAP API.
The Decisions Studio is an integrated design environment providing graphical tools that can be used by non-programmers. These tools all share the same visual paradigm and allow business concepts to be created, evolved and tested without writing code. The rule engine is leveraged to create active forms, make decisions in workflows, provide meaning to reports as well as is usable from API/Messaging infrastructure.
On April 22, 2019 Decisions announced raising $40 million in series A funding from Aldrich Capital Partners.
