Dennis Potter, born on May 17, 1935, in Berry Hill, Gloucestershire, was a British writer and playwright. He was a citizen of the United Kingdom and was educated at New College, Oxford and St Clement Danes School. Potter held various occupations, including working as a journalist, author, theatre director, film director, and screenwriter.
