To start the game, first choose five of your 15 units to begin on your home planet. The rest are placed on a spawn timer dictated by their unit spawn timer. Randomize the first player to start, and play clockwise from there, taking turns one at a time.
Moving Units - At the beginning of your turn, you can move all units you have in play. You can only move units via the Versum Highways unless dictated by a special ability.
Attacking - If an enemy unit is within attacking range of one of your units, you can use that unit’s turn to attack. Unless dictated by a special ability, units must choose to either attack, move, or fortify per turn.
Fortifying - Fortifying a unit unlocks their “Hold” ability, which provides a boost to themselves and friendly units. This action takes a turn for the unit, and does not apply to the game until the next turn unless dictated by a special ability.
Using Energy - Once you collect Energy from an Anomaly, you can use that Energy in game. Farmers allow Energy to be used for respawning units before their respawn timer has completed. Additionally, there are other special units which allow energy to be used for refreshing special abilities.
