Dmitry Yuryevich Malikov (born January 29, 1970, Moscow, USSR) is a Soviet and Russian singer, composer, pianist, producer, theater and film actor. People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2010). Awarded the Order of Friendship for merit in the field of culture (2015). Laureate of the VII International Festival The World Music Awards (1995). Laureate of the national award "Ovation" in the nomination "For intellectual contribution to the development of youth music" (2000) and in the nomination "Best singer" (2007). Since 2012, Dmitry has been implementing a charitable social and educational project "Music Lessons", aimed at supporting children's music education in Russia.[3] In the spring of 2016, the premiere of the musical educational performance "Turn the Game" took place, in which the artist acts as the author of the idea, producer, actor and musician. Childhood and education

Dmitry Malikov's childhood passed on Preobrazhenka. Parents were often on tour, and Malikov spent a lot of time with his grandmother, Valentina Feoktistovna Vyunkova (1914-2008). From the age of 5 he began to study music. He graduated from a music school, in 1985-1989 he studied at the music school at the Moscow Conservatory, in 1994 he graduated with honors from the Moscow State Conservatory (piano class) with teacher V. V. Kastelsky.

Creation

Dmitry Malikov recorded his first song, called "Iron Soul", at the age of 14. A little later, he recorded the songs “Sunny City”, “I am painting a picture”, as well as “House on a Cloud”, which was performed by Larisa Dolina. His television debut took place in 1986 in the program "Wider Circle", where the young musician performed his song to the verses of Lilia Vinogradova "I am painting a picture." In 1987, in the program "Morning Mail" by Yuri Nikolaev, Dmitry performed the song "Terem-Teremok"

On June 25, 1988, in Gorky Park with the songs "Moon Dream" to the verses of Lilia Vinogradova and "You will never be mine" to the verses of David Samoilov, Dmitry Malikov first appeared on the big stage and immediately became popular. So, according to the results of the "Soundtrack" of the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets" for 1988, Malikov was recognized as the "Discovery of the Year". Over the next two years, he becomes "Singer of the Year". In the New Year's "Spark" in 1989, Malikov presented his new song "Until Tomorrow" to the verses of Alexander Shaganov. The song was included in the list of "100 best songs of the XX century according to Europe Plus", taking the 80th line.

In the summer of 1989, Dmitry Malikov was invited as an honored guest to the international festival of popular music in Sopot.

On November 24, 1990, Dmitry Malikov performed for the first time with two solo concerts at the main concert venue of the USSR - in the Olimpiysky Sports Complex, and in 1991 released his debut album "Search for the Soul", which was reissued in 1993 under the title "S you".

In 1993, the film "See Paris and Die" directed by Alexander Proshkin was released, where Malikov played the role of a young pianist Yuri Orekhov. Also in 1993, in Germany, the single "Don't Be Afraid" was released by the duet "Baroque", consisting of the Dutch singer Oscar and Dmitry Malikov. Their duet, where he acted as a composer, arranger and pianist, was repeatedly invited to take part in German television music shows.

In the same year, the artist's first collection of songs, Until Tomorrow, was released. Its co-authors were Alexander Shaganov, Lilia Vinogradova, Vladimir Baranov, Sergey Kostrov. The album was a great success. “Moon Dream”, “You will never be mine”, “Until tomorrow”, “Everything will return”, “Dear Side”, “Marriage Cortege” - these and other songs reached the top of the Russian hit parades. In the album “Come to me”, which was released in 1995, the musician, in addition to songs performed solo, included two instrumental pieces of his own composition (“Letter to the Album” and “Waltz”), as well as a duet with Larisa Dolina - “Autumn Star” ("Christmas Star"). Also this year, Dmitry Malikov was invited to the seventh annual festival in Monte Carlo The World Music Awards, where he performed the song “No, you are not for me” and received the Grand Prix of the festival in the Worlds best-selling recording-artist of the year nomination.

Personal life

He lived in a civil marriage with Natalia Vetlitskaya. Wife - Elena Vyacheslavovna Isakson (born February 14, 1963), originally from Tula, from 1992 until the birth of his daughter, Malikov lived with her in a civil marriage. Daughter Stefania (born February 13, 2000) is a graduate of MGIMO, graduated from the Zhukovka gymnasium. Son Mark (born January 24, 2018). Stepdaughter - Olga Isakson (born July 2, 1985) - photographer, graduate of MGIMO, studied in Paris, Elena's daughter from her first marriage.

"Music lessons"

Since 2012, Malikov began to engage in educational activities as part of a charity project for children "Music Lessons"..Creative meetings with Malikov are held in music schools, including small Russian towns and villages. Over the years of the project's existence, more than 100,000 children from more than 150 settlements in Russia have attended master classes. Several thousand students performed on the same stage with Dmitry Malikov.
