Doctify is a company based in Camden Town. It is a website and app launched in 2015 which enables patients to search, compare and book private doctors and health professionals in the United Kingdom. It features reviews written by patients and recommendations by other health professionals.
The company has a founding team formed by a former business consultant and two doctors. The Doctify office is in London, with a staff of 50+. In December 2016, it secured Series A funding from Amadeus Capital.It combined with VitalityHealth in 2019 to develop the ‘Vitality Specialist Finder', a website that allows members to search for doctors by specialty, rating and location, book appointments and rate the doctors.
Clinicians can use the software to schedule their appointments. It covers 47 different specialties and is accessible on web or mobile devices. It focuses on around 30,000 consultant doctors who operate within the private sector. 90% of them also work in the NHS.
