Dooribun is a Seoul-based technology that specializes in developing virtual reality (VR) content. The company was founded in 2017, and in addition to developing VR content, the company has an extended reality (XR) studio called I-Tuber Studio, which opened in 2020.
When the company initially launched, it created VR content in the horror genre, with topics such as vampires. Dooribun has since branched out to include VR character creation as part of its services.
I-Tuber Studio develops content for VR, augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). The studio is a real-time platform connected to a physical studio where people can be in attendance and interact with up to 200 other attendees through Zoom. It can hold virtual webinars and conferences and is equipped with LED lighting and a chroma key background for visual effects. One example of a visual effect that can be used is its AR floating object feature, which creates a 360-degree view of an object floating in the air, which could be used for product promotion.
