Dr. Vijay S. Pande is a California-based scientist and investor. He earned his bachelor's degree in Physics from Princeton University and obtained his PhD in the same field from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has worked in programming and has also been a member of various boards of directors and scientific advisory boards. He co-founded Globavir Biosciences in 2016. Pande has also worked at Stanford University since 2008 in multiple positions, such as Director of the Biophysics program and as a Professor of Chemistry, Structural Biology, and of Computer Science. He joined Andreessen Horowitz in 2014 as a professor in residence and became a general partner in 2015.
