Dudley R. Herschbach

Dudley R. Herschbach is a chemist, physicist, and mathematician born on June 18, 1932, in San Jose, California. He holds citizenship in the United States. Herschbach received his education at Harvard University, Stanford University, and Campbell High School in California. He was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

Herschbach's doctoral advisor was Edgar Bright Wilson, and one of his notable doctoral students is Anita Goel. Currently, his primary location is in the United States.
