Wade's partners during his basketball career included LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul . He is married to actress Gabrielle Union , and together they have a daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade . Wade also has three other children: Zaire Wade, Zaya Wade, and Xavier Zechariah Wade .

Wade attended Harold L. Richards High School and later went on to Marquette University .
