EC Comics

EC Comics, officially known as Education Comics and later Entertaining Comics, is a company founded by Max Gaines on January 1, 1944. Located in New York City, the company is an organization in the United States that operates within the publishing industry.

EC Comics specializes in various genres, including science fiction, fantasy, crime, and horror comics. Initially, the company was led by Max Gaines as CEO, later succeeded by William Gaines.

EC Comics is a subsidiary of Premier Industries (Hamernik-Harrod, Inc.) and is currently under the parent organization, DC Comics.
