Eastern New Mexico University

Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) is a public educational institution located in Portales, New Mexico. It was founded in 1934 and has the motto "Explore. Experience. Excel.". The university is part of the American higher education system and is accredited by several organizations, including the Higher Learning Commission, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, and the American Chemical Society.

ENMU operates two subsidiary campuses: Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Campus and Eastern New Mexico University Ruidoso Branch Community College. The university is affiliated with various organizations such as the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the National Athletic Association.
