Eduardo Saverin

Eduardo Saverin is a Singapore-based businessman and venture capitalist who has invested in the sectors of social networks and technology. He was the first seed investor for Facebook and has invested in other start-ups such as Antler and Tech in Asia.

Saverin was one of the co-founders of Facebook and also served as Chief Financial Officer. He was also the company's first seed investor.After parting ways with the company in 2005, he relocated to Singapore in 2012 and co-founded B Capital Group in 2015. The company is a venture capital firm investing in technology and logistics start-ups located predominately in Southeast Asia and India.Saverin holds several positions in companies in which he has invested, such as seats on boards of directors and a role as an advisor.
