Edward Feigenbaum, also known as Edward Albert Feigenbaum, is a computer scientist who was born on January 20, 1936 in Weehawken, New Jersey. He is a citizen of the United States.
Feigenbaum received his education at Weehawken High School and later, Carnegie Mellon University. His doctoral advisor was Herbert A. Simon. Throughout his career, Feigenbaum advised several doctoral students, including Niklaus Wirth, Douglas Lenat, Alon Halevy, and Peter Karp.
Feigenbaum was awarded the 1994 Turing Award for his contributions to computer science. He is currently located in the United States.
