Energy Ventures (also known as EV Private Equity) is a Norway-based private equity firm that invests in companies that affect the oil and gas industries in various ways, such as reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and realizing sustainable energy. It has invested in companies that developed technological solutions for situations such as avoiding gas flares and oil spills, eliminating the need to lay cables in ecosystems, and more. As of January 2020, the firm has 23 companies in its portfolio and has had 31 exits.
