Erastus Brigham Bigelow (born April 2, 1814) was an inventor, economist, and writer from West Boylston, Massachusetts. Throughout his life, he held various occupations and made contributions to multiple fields.
Bigelow possessed diverse interests and talents, as seen through his occupation as a writer and economist. However, he was also known for his work as an inventor, which led to his induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2006.
In his personal life, Bigelow had a child named Helen Bigelow Merriman. He passed away in Boston on December 6, 1879.
