Erich Honecker

Erich Honecker was a German politician born on August 25, 1912, in Neunkirchen, Saarland. He received his education at the International Lenin School. Throughout his life, Honecker held citizenship in different countries, including the German Empire, Weimar Republic, Territory of the Saar Basin, and East Germany.

After a long and varied career, Honecker passed away on May 29, 1994, in La Reina. As a distinguished individual, Erich Honecker was awarded numerous accolades such as Hero of the Soviet Union, Order of José Martí, Order of Lenin, Order of the October Revolution, and Order of Karl Marx.
