Ernst von Wildenbruch

Ernst von Wildenbruch (born February 3, 1845, in Beirut – died January 15, 1909, in Berlin) was a German poet, writer, playwright, and diplomat. He held German citizenship and studied at Humboldt University of Berlin. Wildenbruch was active in various literary fields and contributed to the cultural landscape of his time as an accomplished creative figure.
