EthStorage

EthStorage is a California-based company that has developed layer-2 solutions for programmable storage based on Ethereum's Data Availability (DA). It was founded in 2022 and has received funding through the Ethereum Foundation to continue conducting research on the topic of data availability. The company has released the testnet version of its product of the same name.

The company developed decentralized storage solutions that it states are capable of higher capacity at a lower cost than current storage solutions, such as Ethereum nodes. EthStorage is integrated with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and is compatible with tools such as Hardhat and MetaMask. One feature of EthStorage is a large key-value store for data storage. The solution also offers proof-of-storage with random sampling and sharding for data retention. Other features of the solution include proof-of-publication via DA and decentralized access to web objects hosted by smart contracts and EthStorage.

There are several decentralized applications that are live on EthStorage's testnet including Uniswap, ENS, Vitalik Blog, W3Blog, and Web3 QRobot.
