Exodus (blockchain)

Exodus is a cryptocurrency wallet for storing, managing, and trading blockchain assets. The mobile wallet encrypts private keys and transaction data on a user's device. Registration or account setup is not required. It provides a twelve-word backup phrase that enables a user to use the app or sync to a desktop.

Users can purchase their preferred cryptocurrencies within Exodus mobile and pay with credit/debit card, bank transfer, or Apple Pay. The platform also provides an online help desk and customer support. Apart from staking and buying cryptocurrency, it enables users to manage different portfolios, view their non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and explore Web3 on Android and iOS.

In 2023, Exodus and Magic Eden, a cross-chain NFT marketplace, partnered to streamline the NFT landscape for mainstream users via intuitive mobile interfaces, fiat onramp/offramp solutions, and asset swaps.
