FS Investments

FS Investments (formerly Franklin Square Capital Partners) is a publicly-traded business development company based in Pennsylvania. Michael Forman and David J Adelman co-founded the firm in 2007 and is headquartered in Philadelphia. The firm rebranded to FS Investments in 2016. The firm opened its first closed-end fund, FS Investment Corp., to clients in January 2009 raising $150 million a month. In 2018, the firm partnered with KKR Credit Advisors to merge FSIC and Corporate Capital Trust to create a publicly-traded business development company on the New York Stock Exchange under the "FSK" ticker.
